02-31 - 04-01 - Vacation Easement for part of St. Croix Ave Resolution 02-31 April 1, 2002 Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR STREET EASEMENT VACATION FOR A PORTION OF ST. CROIX AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice, has heretofore conducted public hearing on the vacation of portions of that certain street known as St. Croix Avenue North as now dedicated and laid out within the City of Golden Valley; and WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that said portions of that certain public street as described below be, and the same hereby is vacated: All that part of Lots 4, 5, & 6, Block 8, Yarnell's Golden Valley Outlots lying west of a line drawn from a point on the north line of road, 359.6 feet westerly from its intersection with the east line of Yarnell's Golden Valley Outlots, thence north 8 feet; thence northwesterly to the west line of said Lot 4 at a point 24 feet north of the southwest corner of said Lot 4; thence northwesterly to the west line of said Lot 5 at a point 15 feet north of the southwest corner of said Lot 5; thence northwesterly 30 feet to the southwesterly line of said Lot 6 and there terminating. That portion of the above described easement to be vacated is described as follows: All that part of the above described easement lying northerly of a line drawn from a point on the south line of Yarnell's Golden Valley Outlots, 359.6 feet westerly of the east line of Yarnell's Golden Valley Outlots; thence northwesterly to the west line of said Lot 4 at a point 6 feet north of the southwest corner of said Lot 4; thence northwesterly to the west line of said Lot 5 at a point 8 feet north of the southwest corner of said Lot 5; thence to the point of termination as described above and there terminating.
