Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
2005 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, it is proposed to reconstruct the streets listed below and to assess the
benefited properties pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 for the following streets:
2005 PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT STREET LIST:
Adell Avenue North: Noble Avenue North to Kyle Avenue North
• Brunswick Avenue North: Glenwood Avenue to Cul-de-sac
Brunswick Avenue South: Glenwood Avenue to Dakota Avenue South
• Dakota Avenue South: Glenwood Avenue to Brunswick Avenue South
• Elmdale Road: Noble Avenue North to Kyle Avenue North
Florida Avenue South: Laurel Avenue to 1-394 North Frontage Road (M.S.A.S.)
• Hampshire Avenue South: Laurel Avenue to 1-394 North Frontage Road
• 1-394 North Frontage Road (Edgewood Avenue South): Florida Avenue South to 1-394
North Frontage Road (M.S.A.S.)
• Indiana Avenue North: Golden Valley Road to Cul-de-sac
• Kyle Avenue North: Culver Road to 34th Avenue North

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, Minnesota that the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer for
study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising
the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and
as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Grayson
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Grayson,
Johnson, LeSuer, Loomis and Tremere; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
