Member Tremere introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION 72-446 AND
ESTABLISHING PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON
THE NORTH SIDE OF GOLDEN VALLEY ROAD
(RHODE ISLAND AVENUE NORTH TO PENNSYVANIA AVENUE NORTH)
WHEREAS, the City Council has the power and authority, pursuant to Chapter 9.06,
Subd. 2 of the City code, to designate no parking zones and areas, and it appears that a
parking restriction should be created on a portion of Golden Valley Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, Minnesota that:
1. That Resolution 72-446 is hereby rescinded.
2. That no parking shall be permitted on Golden Valley Road from the centerline
of Rhode Island Avenue North and a point 430 feet east of the centerline of
Rhode Island Avenue North; and, from a point 520 feet east of the centerline
of Rhode Island Avenue North to the centerline of Pennsylvania Avenue
North.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Grayson
upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Grayson, Johnson,
LeSuer, Loomis and Tremere; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon
said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her
signature attested by the City Clerk.
