Member Tremere introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING ON
APRIL 20, 2004 TO CONSIDER VACATION OF PLATTED DRAINAGE
AND UTILITY EASEMENTS FOR ROOM AND BOARD
WHEREAS, a portion of platted drainage and utility easements are no longer
needed and the City desires to consider vacation of those certain platted drainage and
utility easements legally described as follows:
That part of the West 6.00 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, North Wirth Parkway 4th Addition
which lies South of the North 6.00 feet of said Lot 1 and which lies Northerly of the
following described line (and its southwesterly extension): Commencing at the
Northeast corner of Lot 1, Block 1, Room and Board Addition PUD No. 79, thence
South 00 degrees 25 minutes 06 seconds East, assumed bearing, along the east
line of Lot 1, Block 1, Room and Board Addition PUD No. 79 a distance of 275.66
feet to the point of beginning of the line to be herein described; thence North 30
degrees 49 minutes 47 seconds East a distance of 20.00 feet and there terminating,
City of Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
Also that part of the East 6.00 feet of Lot 1, Block 1, Room and Board PUD No. 79
lying south of the North 10.00 feet of said Lot 1 and which lies Northerly of the
following described line (and its southwesterly extension): Commencing at the
Northeast corner of said Lot 1; thence South 00 degrees, 25 minutes, 06 seconds
East, assumed bearing, along the east line of said Lot 1 a distance of 275.66 feet to
the point of beginning of the line to be herein described; thence North 30 degrees 48
minutes, 47 seconds East a distance of 20.00 feet and there terminating, City of
Golden Valley, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley hereby schedules a public hearing on April 20, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. to consider
vacation of a portion of platted drainage and utility easements.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Freiberg
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Freiberg,
Grayson, Loomis, Shaffer and Tremere; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
