Member Grayson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF PLAT - LAKEVIEW HEIGHTS 2ND ADDITION
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice,
has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as the
LAKEVIEW HEIGHTS 2ND ADDITION covering the following described tracts of land:
Registered Title Property:
Lots 20, 21 and the South Half of Lot 22, Block 8, "Lakeview Heights," Hennepin County
Minnesota, according to the duly recorded plat thereof.
That part of vacated Wheeler Boulevard, as dedicated in the plat of"Lakeview Heights,"
Hennepin County Minnesota, lying southeasterly of the centerline of said vacated street,
easterly of the southerly extension of the west line of Lot 1, Block 7, said plat, and
southwesterly of a line drawn at a right angle to said centerline and passing through the
northwest corner of the South Half of Lot 22, Block 8, said plat.
That part of the vacated alley in Block 8 "Lakeview Heights," Hennepin County Minnesota,
lying westerly of the centerline of said vacated alley, northerly of a line drawn at a right
angle to said centerline and passing through the southeast corner of Lot 20, said Block 8,
and southerly of a line drawn at a right angle to said centerline and passing through the
northeast corner of the South Half of Lot 22, said Block 8.

Hennepin County Minnesota lying Southeasterly of the centerline thereof and between the
extensions across it of the Northerly line and of the Southerly line of said Lot 17; all of
which lie westerly of the following described line: Beginning at a point on the south line of

the easterly extension of the north line of Lot 3, Block 8, said plat, and northerly of a line

WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Golden
Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and
the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original of
said plat and to do all other things necessary and proper in the premises.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Freiberg
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Freiberg,
Grayson, Loomis, Shaffer and Tremere; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
