Member Freiberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION VACATING RECORDED SANITARY SEWER AND PLATTED DRAINAGE
AND UTILITY EASEMENTS IN SUNRISE OF GOLDEN VALLEY P.U.D. NO. 97
(SCHAPER ROAD AND OLSON MEMORIAL HIGHWAY)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice,
has heretofore conducted public hearing on the vacation of recorded sanitary sewer
easements and platted drainage and utility easements for the new plat of Sunrise of
Golden Valley P.U.D. No. 97.
WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley that said recorded sanitary sewer easement and a portion of a certain sanitary
sewer easement as well as the drainage and utility easements located in the property
legally described below be vacated:
The property is described as:
That part of the North 262 feet of the South 455 feet of the East 754.29 feet of the
Southeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 19, Township 29, Range 24,
lying West of Ottawa Avenue and that part of the South 193 feet of the East 487.29
of the southeast quarter of the northwest quarter, lying West of Ottawa Avenue,
except highway
AND
Lot 1, Block 2, Schaper Addition as recorded in Hennepin County, Minnnesota.
The easements to be vacated are described as:
Sanitary sewer easement per Document No. 3987701.
AND
That part of the sanitary sewer easement per Document No. 3987700 which lies
within Lot 1, Block 2, Schaper Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof,
Hennepin County, Minnesota.
AND
All drainage and utility easements over said Lot 1, Block 2, Schaper Addition, as
dedicated in said plat.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Shaffer
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Freiberg,
Loomis, Shaffer and Tremere; and the following was absent: Grayson; and the following
voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
