05-45 - 06-07 - Establish PH for Drainage Easements RLT PUD 91 Resolution 05-45 June 7, 2005
Member Pentel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC HEARING
ON JULY 5, 2005 TO CONSIDER VACATION OF
CERTAIN RECORDED UTILITY EASEMENTS AND
CERTAIN PLATTED DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS
RLT ADDITION P.U.D. NO. 91
WHEREAS, certain parcels located southerly of 1-394 and westerly of General Mills
Boulevard are to be platted, certain recorded utility easements within these parcels and the
drainage and utility easements as platted in the plat of RLT ADDITION P.U.D. NO. 91, are
no longer needed and the City desires to consider vacation of these recorded utility and
platted drainage and utility easements described more specifically as follows:
An easement recorded as Hennepin County Registrar of Titles Document
No. 604071;
Also, an easement recorded as Hennepin County Registrar of Titles
Document No. 781571;
Also, an easement recorded as Hennepin County Registrar of Titles
Document No. 819941 and Hennepin County Recorder Document No.
3559176;
Also, an easement recorded as Hennepin County Registrar of Titles
Document No. 824302;
Also, an easement recorded as Hennepin County Registrar of Titles
Document No. 824490;
Also, the reserved utility easements in the vacation of property described in
Hennepin County Registrar of Titles Document No. 3417607 as to Flag
Avenue only;
All the platted Drainage and Utility easements in the plat of RLT ADDITION
P.U.D. NO. 91, as they affect Lot 1, Block 1, RLT ADDITION P.U.D. NO. 91;
All the platted Drainage and Utility easements in the plat of MURRI-MAC
INDUSTRIAL PARK as they affect Certificate of Title Nos. 1136773 and
1079581.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley hereby schedules a public hearing on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 at 7:00 pm to consider
vacation of certain recorded utility easements and platted drainage and utility easements.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Grayson
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Freiberg,
Grayson, Loomis, Pentel and Shaffer; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
