07-40 - 09-18 - Vacate Portion Easement - 6045 St. Croix Ave N Resolution 07-40 September 18, 2007 Member Shaffer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION VACATING A PORTION OF A STREET EASEMENT AT 6045 ST. CROIX AVENUE NORTH WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the vacation of a portion of that certain street known as St. Croix Avenue North as now dedicated and laid out within the City of Golden Valley; and WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley that said portions of that certain public street as described below, and the same hereby is vacated: All that part of Medicine Lake Road, now known as St. Croix Avenue lying southwesterly of the following described line: Commencing at the intersection of the southerly line of St. Croix Avenue and the West line of East Constance Drive, thence westerly along the southerly line of said St. Croix Avenue a distance of 33.06 feet to the actual point of beginning: thence deflecting to the right 19 degrees 36 minutes 33 seconds on the chord of a non- tangential curve a distance of 139.81 feet more or less to the southerly line of St. Croix Avenue and there terminating. The non-tangential curve having a delta angle of 21 degrees, 37 minutes, 08 seconds, a radius of 372.73 feet and a length of 140.64 feet. All lying in Section 28, Township 118, Range 21, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
