11-31 - 06-07 - approval of plat - Venture Bank Resolution 11-31 June 7, 2011 Member Shaffer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF PLAT -VENTURE BANK WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, pursuant to due notice, has heretofore conducted a public hearing on the proposed plat to be known as Venture Bank covering the following described tracts of land: That part of Government Lot 3, Section 4, Township 117, Range 21, described as beginning at a point on the North line of the South 33 feet of said Government Lot 3 distant 332 feet Easterly from its intersection with the West line of said Section 4; thence Northerly parallel with said West line 300 feet; thence Westerly parallel with the South line of said Government Lot 3 to the East line of the West 70 feet of said Government Lot 3; thence Southerly along said East line of the West 70 fee to its intersection with the Northerly right- of-way line of Interstate Highway No. 394, per document No. 6031692, as filed in the ofFce of the County Recorder; thence Southeasterly along said Northerly right-of-way line to said North line of the South 33 feet of Government Lot 3; thence Easterly along said North line to the point of beginning. WHEREAS, all persons present were given the opportunity to be heard; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Golden Valley, that said proposed plat be, and the same hereby is, accepted and approved, and the proper officers of the City are hereby authorized and instructed to sign the original of said plat and to do all other things necessary and proper in the premises. �' / ' � �b���� Linda R. Virnig, City Clerk The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Freiberg and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Freiberg, Loomis, Pentel, Scanlon and Shaffer; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor and her signature attested by the City Clerk.
