Member Scanlon introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR 2012 URBAN HENNEPIN
COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM FUNDS
AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT WITH
URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY AND ANY THIRD PARTY AGREEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, through execution of a
Joint Cooperation Agreement with Hennepin County, is cooperating in the Urban Hennepin
Gounty Community Development Block Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Galden Valley has developed a proposal for the use af 2012
Urban Hennepin County Cammunity Development Block Grant funds;
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Golden Valley approves the
following project for funding from the 2012 Urban Hennepin County Community
Develapment Block Grant Program and authorizes submittal of the proposal to Urban
Hennepin County/Consolidated Paol.

Pesch Place Rehabilitation Project $92,250
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes and directs
the Mayor and the City Manager to execute the Subrecipient Agreement and any required
Third Party Agreement on behalf of the City to implement the 2012 Community
Development Block Grant Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that should the final amount of FY2012 CQBG
available to the City be different from the preliminary amount provided to the City, the City
Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to adjust project budget(s) to reflect an
increase or decrease in funding.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Clausen
and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Clausen,
Freiberg, Harris, Pentel and ScanlQn; and the following voted against the same: nane,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayar
and his signature attested by the City Clerk.
