Member Pentel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION FOR AMENDMENT TO THE
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN'S GENERAL LAND USE PLAN MAP RESPECTING
PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 9130 AND 9220 OLSON MEMORIAL HIGHWAY
WHEREAS, the City Council has met at the time and place specified in a notice duly
published with respect to the subject matter hereof and has heard all interested persons,
and it appearing in the interest of the public that the General Land Use Plan Map as
heretofore adopted and enacted by the City of Golden Valley be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council for the City of Golden
Valley, that pursuant to the provision of Chapter 11.90, Subd. 7 of the City Code for the City
of Golden Valley, and subject to review and approval by the Metropolitan Council for
conformity with regional systems plan as provided in state law, the General Land Use
Plan Map for the City of Golden Valley is hereby amended by changing the Commercial-
Retail/Service use to Residential-High Density use as the official land use designatian for
the property located at and legally described as follows:
9130 Olson Memorial Highway
Unplatted 31 118 21 - West 211 14/1Q0 feet of East 291 14/100 feet of that park of
Northwest '/a of Southwest '/4 lying South of Minneapolis Watertown Road and North of
State Highway No. 55.
9220 Olson Memorial Highway
Unplatted 31 118 21 - that part of Northwest 'f4 of Southwest '/4 lying East of West 749 8/10
feet thereof and West of East 291.14 feet thereof North of State Highway No 55 and South
of Watertown Road.

The motion for the adoption of the foregaing resolution was seconded by Member Scanlon
and upon a vate being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Clausen,
Freiberg, Harris, Pentel and Scanlon; and the following voted against the same: none,
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Mayor
and his signature attested by the City Clerk.
