16-77 - 12-06 - Adopt 2017 Budget General Fund Resolution 16-77 December 6, 2016 Member Schmidgall introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 2017 BUDGET OF THE GENERAL FUND BUDGET WHEREAS, in 2016, the staff presented a biennial budget cycle with a proposed 2017 current budget year and a 2018 "in concept" budget proposal; and WHEREAS, this proposed 2017 operating budget resolution and the accompanying proposed tax levies contained in Resolution 16-78 are submitted by the City in accordance with Minnesota Statutes and other applicable laws in effect on this date; and BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden Valley, Minnesota, that the 2017 General Fund Budget are hereby given final approval.
