RESOLUTION NO. 20-66
RESOLUTION APPROVING CORONAVIRUS AID, RELIEF,
AND ECONOMIC SECURITY (CARES) AID FUNDING FROM HENNEPIN COUNTY
WHEREAS, in 2020, the Hennepin County allocated $1,117,423.48 to Hennepin
County Cities for funds to be used prevent, prepare for, and respond to coronavirus,
domestically or internationally, for the 2020 Federal election cycle", and
WHEREAS, the City of Golden Valley received $11,544, and
WHEREAS, any monies not expended by the City must be sent back to Hennepin
County, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Golden
Valley, Minnesota, any funds will be sent back if not spent, otherwise the funds will be used
to offset the costs of the November election.
Adopted by the City Council of Golden Valley, Minnesota this 4th day of November 2020.
