84-05 HRA Resolution . . . Resolution 84-5 November 13, 1984 Commissioner Thompson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION WITHDRAWING DESIGNATION OF MONSON/UELAND ARCHITECTS, INC. AS DEVELOPER OF EWALD PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING CANCELLATION OF THE CONTRACT WITH MONSON/UELAND ARCHITECTS, INC. WHEREAS, the HRA passed Resolution 82-9 at its meeting of September 13, 1982, designating Monson/Ueland Architects, Inc., as developer of the Ewald property owned by the HRA; WHEREAS, the HRA subsequently approved and entered into an Agreement for Private Development of the Ewald property with Monson/Ueland Architects, Inc., whereby Monson/Ueland Architects, Inc., was to purchase the property from the HRA and construct certain improvements thereon; WHEREAS, Monson/Ueland Architects, Inc., has failed to complete the conditions required by the Agreement for Private Development for closing the purchase of the Ewald property and failed to pay the balance due thereon of $4,000; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Gol den Valley that: 1. The designation of Monson/Ueland Architects, Inc., as developer of the Ewald property is hereby withdrawn. 2. The HRA Director and HRA Attorney are directed and authorized to take all steps necessary to cancel the Agreement for Private Development entered into with Monson/Ueland Architects, Inc. ATTEST: The motion for t e adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Commissioner Ande son and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Anderson, Bakken, Johnson, Stockman and Thompson; and the following voted against the same: none, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted, signed by the Chair and his signature attested by the Di rector.
