Resolution 90-3

Commissioner Anderson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION REMOVING THE CONDITIONAL DESIGNATION OF THE
DEVELOPER OF A PORTION OF THE NORTH WIRTH REDEVELOPMENT AREA
WHEREAS~ the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of
Golden Valley (hereinafter "HRA") in Resolution 88-3~ did designate conditionally
Bossardt Christenson Corporation (the "Corporation:') as the developer of a portion
of the North Wirth Redevelopment Area as outlined on the attached Map A~ North
Wirth Parkway Redevelopment Project Area~ Conditional Designation Area; and
WHEREAS~ the HRA has worked for more than one year with the Corporation
and its successors to redevelop property now owned by various parties including
Otto Bock and Soo Line Railroad; and
WHEREAS~ THE Corporation has been unable to secure tenants or financing to
proceed with the redevelopment project in a timely manner:
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED~ by the HRA that it hereby removes the
conditional designation of the Bossardt Christenson Corporation as a developer
of a portion of the North Wirth Redevelopment Area as set forth in Resolution
88-3~ said portion to include a lot which principally covers the Otto Bock
property~ as outlined in the attached Map B, North Wirth Parkway Redevelopment
Project Area~ Area Removed From Conditional Designation Area.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that previous designation of the property shall
continue in the name of North Wirth Limited Partnership~ successor to Bossardt
Christenson Corporation; and shall extend for not more than twelve months from the
date of this resolution~ or until removed by action of the HRA~ whichever comes
first.

The motion for h of the foregoing resolution was seconded by
Commissioner Joh on and upon a vote being taken thereon~ the following voted in
favor thereof: Anderson~ Bakken~ Johnson~ Stockman and Thompson; and the
following voted against the same: none~ whereupon said resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted~ signed by the Chair and his signature attested by the
Di rector.
