Summary
Minnesota Statute 205.185 Subd. 3 states the canvassing of the election results must be conducted
between the third and tenth days after an election. At this meeting, the City Council shall be acting as
the Election Canvassing Board to canvass the returns and declare the results of the municipal election.
As shown by the accompanying report, certified by the City Clerk, the votes received by each
candidate for the office of Council Member are as follows:

elected to a four-year term.

Recommended Action
Motion to accept the submitted Hennepin County’s Election Abstract of Votes Cast in the Precincts of
the City of Golden Valley for the Municipal General Election held on November 4, 2025 and declare
the results from the abstract to be the official results.
