SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
City Council meetings are being conducted in a hybrid format with in -person and remote options
for attending, participating, and commenting.
Present: Mayor Shep Harris, Council Members Maurice Harris, Denise La Mere -Anderson,
Gillian Rosenquist and Kimberly Sanberg
Staff present: City Manager Cruikshank
Mayor Harris started the special meeting at 5:45 pm.
1. Commissioner Interviews
The Golden Valley City Council discussed current vacancies and interviewed the following
candidate for appointment to various boards and commissions:
Steve Spaulding
2. Discussion Regarding Appointments and Reappointments to Various Boards and Commission
The City Council consensus was to appoint John Dunn and Steve Spaulding to fill vacancies on the
Community Advisory Committee. No appointments were made to the Business Advisory
Committee.
3. Adjournment
The Council adjourned by unanimous consent at 6:05 pm.
