Roll Call Commissioners in person: Roger Bergman, John Cornelius, Bill Delaney, Matthew Olson, Matthew Sanders, Scott Seys, Dawn Speltz, and Linden Weiswerda Commissioners absent: Brian Wright Staff present: Rick Birno, Parks andRecreation Director; and Al Lundstrom, Park Maintenance Superintendent 3.LandAcknowledgmentStatement Chair Weiswerda shared the Land Acknowledgment Statement with the commission. 4. Agenda Changes or Additions None. 5. Approval of Minutes – July 24, 2023 MOTION moved by Commissioner Sanders and seconded by Commissioner Speltz to approve the July 24, 2023 meeting minutes. Motion carried unanimously. 6. Request For Volunteer to Support Community Service Commission Staff member Birno said the Community Service Commission is seeking volunteers to assist with the 2023 family service organizations annual funding recommendations. Those interested can reach out to Brian Erickson, Recreation Supervisor. 7. Play Trail Ribbon Cutting – October 10 at 5:30 pm at Lions Park Staff members Birno invited the commissioners to the Play Trail Ribbon Cutting on October 10 at 5:30 pm at Lions Park. 8.
