JOINT WATER COMMISSION MINUTES

Meeting of September 6, 2023
The Golden Valley - Crystal - New Hope Joint Water Commission (JWC) meeting was called
to order at 1:33 pm.

Approval of Minutes August 2, 2023
Moved by Bell and seconded by Bertholf to approve the minutes of the August 2, 2023,
Joint Water Commission (JWC) Meeting. Upon a roll call vote the following voted in favor:
Cruikshank, Bell, and Bertholf. The following voted against: None. Motion carried.
3M PFAS Class Action Settlement Discussion
The Commissioners discussed possible participation in the 3M PFAS Class Action
Settlement.
JWC Valve Replacement Project at 41 st Ave and Douglas Dr
Moved by Bertholf and seconded by Cruikshank to authorize the contract for the JWC
Valve Replacement Project. Upon a roll call vote the following voted in favor: Cruikshank,
Bell, and Bertholf. The following voted against: None. Motion carried.
TAC Update
Staff provided an update from the August 31, 2023, TAC meeting.
