Members Present: Bob Blenkush, Joyce Doerffler, Hilmer Erickson,
Elissa Heilicher, Jay Hoffman, Gloria Johnson, Bob Lang, Duane Wosje,
Sue Virnig - staff liaison and Harlen Peterson - golf tourney liaison.
Members.Absent: Sharon Mattison, Robbin Rouillard, Rod Wooten
1. The meeting was called to order at 7:06 p.m. by Jay Hoffman.
2. The motion was made to approve the meeting minutes of February 3,1997.
The motion was passed and seconded.
3. Golf Tournament Talk - Golden Valley GolfClossic
a. Letter edits. Add na1nesto contact in the closing paragraph. Add
additional edits to encourage more corporate sponsership. Letter will
be completed this week to begin canvassing businesses.
b. Golf hole sponsor: Twin West has committed to participate.
c. Marketing. Robbin Rouillard was not available for futher updates.
d. Volunteers. John Herbeck has volunteered to help with the tourney.
John is a candidate for the planning committee and the GVHSF.
Harlan Peterson will look at staffmg formats from other tounaments
and meet with the appropriate chairs prior to next month's meeting.
e. SponsorshiplPrizeslGifts. Harlen Peterson said that Iten Chevrolet in
Brooklyn Park will sponsor a hole-in-one par three. Chairs of each
committee are to assemble a list of possible sponsors.
4. Flower Sale
No date for the sale has been set yet.
5. 19% Revenue
Revenue is running ahead of what we anticipated during last year's
planning.

6. Other
YMCA Detached Worker Program and Home Free Shelter will each
present to the foundation in the near future. The plan will be to schedule
one each month in either AprilJMay or May/June.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:24 p.m.
