Minutes of the August 11, 1997
Golden Valley Council Conference Room
Members Present:, Bob Lang, Rod Wooten, Duane Wosje, Bob Blenkush,
Joyce Doerffler, Gloria Johnson, Hilmer Erickson, Elissa Heilicher and Sue
Virnig, Staff liaison.
Members Absent: Robbin Rouillard, Jay Hoffman, Sharon Mattison.
The meeting was called to order at 7:01 by Chair Bob Lang.
Minutes: Bob Blenkush moved approval of the July 14, 1997 minutes and was
seconded by Elissa Heilicher. The motion passed unanimously.
Golf Tournament: Bob Blenkush went over the time line for the event. Prizes
were discussed for each hole and event. Elissa is responsible for the food.
Monday meetings will be held until the tournament. Those dates are August 18,
August 25 and September 3(Wednesday at Brookview).
Run/Walk: Jim Lupient donated $100.00; Golden Valley Rotary donated
$100.00; Liberty Carton donated $800.00 for the t-shirts; Byerly's donated
apples; NSI Griswold donated coffee and juice. Rod will talk to Einstein bagels
for product.
Adjournment: Bob Blenkush moved adjournment at 8:45pm and was seconded
by Duane Wosje. The motion passed unanimously.
