GOLDEN VALLEY HUMAN SERVICES FOUNDATION
Minutes of the February 15, 2000 Meeting
Golden Valley City Council Room
Memben Preseat: Hilmer Erickson, Terri DeVeau, Karen Nas, Helen Bassett, Elissa Heilicher, and
Sue Vtmig, Staff Liaison.

CaD to Order: CbairTeri DeVeau called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Approval ollaDuary MiDUtes: The motion to approve the minutes was seconded, and passed by all
those present.
RUD the VaHey: Four tee shirt designs were submitted. Although all were creative, one specific
design was selected for the shirt. This design had four colors, and Sue will check with the screen
printing company on how much the shirts will cost. Food: We have secured bagels from Einstein,
200 servings of orange juice, fruit from the County Club, and water from Glenwood Springs. Please
call Teri immediately if any board members get more food or drink committed. Her work number is
797-8482. Elissa and Teri are working on the coffee. Karen will bring a 5-galJon dispenser for the
juice. Karen will try to solicit a donation from the Golden Valley Legion and Teri will try from the
VFW. We reviewed other sponsors for the event.
Board members should distribute registration flyers for the run. We will discuss volunteers, etc. at the
March meeting. Asain. the annual Golden Valley Fun Run fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April
15. The cost topre--register will be $12 and $18 for the day of the event.
Golf FUDdraiser:
The golftoumament is scheduled for Friday morning, September 15. We will be able to have a
shotgun start around 8:30 a.m. Sue passed out a list of previous sponsors. We divided up the list and
board members will need to contact them about sponsoring the tournament again this year.
Adjoummeat: The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
