Section 6.44: Plumbers
Subdivision 1. License Required
It is unlawful for any person to engage in the business of plumbing without a
license therefor from the State of Minnesota.
Subdivision 2. Bond and Insurance Required
A. The applicant shall give bond to the City in the penal sum of at least two
thousand dollars ($2,000) conditioned upon faithful and lawful performance
of all work in the City. Proof of filing such bond with the State shall relieve
the applicant of this requirement.
B. The applicant shall provide evidence of public liability insurance, including
products liability coverage, with limits of at least fifty thousand dollars
($50,000) per person, one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) per
occurrence, and ten thousand dollars ($10,000) property damage. Proof of
filing such evidence with the State shall relieve the applicant of this
requirement.
