Section 12.43: Monuments and Other Markers
Subdivision 1. No Final Plat Shall be Approved by the Council Unless
the Owner or Subdivider
A. Shall have installed survey monuments at all block corners, angle points,
points of curves in streets and at intermediate points as shown on the final
plat.
B. Shall have installed cast iron monuments, as approved by the Hennepin
County Surveyor, at each corner or angle on the outside border.
C. Shall have installed pipes or steel rods at the corners of each lot and at each
intersection of street centerlines.
D. Shall have preserved in precise position, all United States, State, County or
other official benchmarks, monuments or triangulations, stations in or
adjacent to the property, all as required by the City Engineer.
