JULY 10,1951
The regular meeting of the Golden Valley Park Board was
held at the Golden Valley Village Hall at 8:30 p.m.
July 10,1951 with President J.G.Boyer, presiding.
All members were present. ROLL CALL
Minutes of the June 13 meeting were read and approved. TvUNfTFS
The secretary was asked to write a letter of thanks to L'TTFR TO
tr. K.B.Raymond, Tv"pls. Park Board Director of recreation, MR. RAYT40ND
Mr. Hauseman 3227 26th Ave. No. suggested to the Park Board
that trees and shrubs be planted in the Glenview Terrace GLENVIEW
Park Area. This area is 9Cx9Oxl50. T+Tr. Moes and Yr.Boyer TFRRACF
recommended that a horseshoe pitching court be planned for PARK AREA
the center of the area.
I4r. Riley offered a backstop for the Harold Avenue Ptirk. BACKSTOP
The Park Board plan to meet with him on Saturday, July 13. HAROLD AVE.
The secretary is requested to notify Bud Bryant, Village CHECK FOR
Treasure, that a check of X300.00 be ready for the swimming SWIlY ING
instructor on July 27. INSTR17CTOR
Mr. Boyer was asked to order the swingset for Golden Oaks Park. SININGS
