Park Board
Village Golder. Valley, March 19, 1957
special meeting of the village zzxmx Park Board was held on Mar.
19, 1957, for the purpose of gppearing before the Village Council
and presenting the Plan and Survey, at 7:30 P.M. Present and
attending on behalf of the Park Board were Ostroot, Stockman, Chapman,
and Gustafson associate, and Bob Corwine, architect.
The Mayor asked the Board to proceed, whereupon Mr. Stockman
introduced the matter, and Mr. Corwine presented the survey and plan.
After discussion, it was moved and adopted that the request of the
Park Board for X200,000 be presented to the voters at the May 6, 1957
ref'erdndum election as a proposal, and that at the sari time the Hall
referendum of $600,000 for the villane Hall, of which ;150,000 is
being furnished by donors, be on the same ballot but separately voted.
There being no further Park matter, the
withdrew and ad 'ourned their meeting.

A special meeting of the village Park Board was held Mar. 25, 1957
at the Meadowbrooks School auditorium with members of the League
of Women Voters of Molder_ Valley in attendance, at 7:30, P.M.
Present were Ostroot, Stockman, Chapman and Corwine, architect, and
members of the public and Lea7,ue of G.F. Women Voters.
Corwine presented the Plan and survey. There were
questions and discussion from the floor th e
