August 14, 1967
A special meeting, -of the Golden Valley Park & Recreation Commission
was held at the Golden Valley Civic Center, 7800 Golden Valley Road,
Golden Valley, Minnesota, on Thursday, August 14,1967, at 7:30 P.M.
Members present6. Chairman Roelke, Anderson, Byrnes, Petersen,
Oukrop. Member absent: Sullivan, Also present was John Brenna.
PARK & RECREATION ORDINANCE
After a lengthy discussion concerning the revised Park & Recreation
Ordinance, certain areas of the Ordinance were changed and reworded.
MOVED by Roelke, seconded by Byrnes, unanimously carried that the
Park & Recreation Commission recommend the new and revised Park
Recreation Ordinance to the Village Council.
SCHEID PARK BRIDGE
After much discussion, it was decided that all pertinent information
concerning the access problem be gathered and a neighborhood
Committee be organized. With the above accomplished, a plan of
action will be devised at our next meeting.
There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:45 P.m.
