Section 25.05: Electric Franchise
Ordinance No. 502, adopted December 13, 1979, grants franchise to Northern
States Power Company, for a period of twenty (20) years.
Ordinance No. 394, adopted December 18, 2007, grants franchise to Northern
States Power Company, for a period of twenty (20) years.
Ordinance No. 447, adopted October 5, 2010, requires franchise fee from Northern
States Power D/B/A Xcel Energy for providing Electric Service within City of Golden
Valley
Ordinance No. 456, adopted March 15, 2011, amending Ordinance No. 447.
Ordinance No. 493, adopted January 2, 2013, amending Ordinance No. 394,
relating to franchise fee associated with the grant to Xcel Energy.
