Review Comprehensive Annual Financial Report Prepared By Sue Virnig, Finance Director Summary Bill Lauer from Malloy Montague Karnowski Radosevich & Co. will be in attendance to discuss the 2018 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, Management Report and Special Purpose Audit Reports. His main focus will be reviewing the Management Report document. The three documents are located at http://weblink.ci.golden- valley.mn.us/Public/Browse.aspx?startid=243777&dbid=2 under the 2018 Financial Year. Executive Summary Golden Valley Council/Manager Meeting June 11,2019 Agenda Item 2.Discuss 2019 Bike Lane Improvement Project No.19 02 Prepared By Jeff Oliver,PE City Engineer R.J.Kakach,PE,Assistant City Engineer Summary City Council,as part of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan,commissioned a Bike/Ped Task Force to make recommendations on proposed bike and pedestrian routes in Golden Valley for future projects. Working off of the recommendations,staff developed a plan to install bike lanes on several corridors as part of a 2019 project.It was determined that the project should be split into two years due to the allotted budget available in 2019.The proposed 2019 project includes the following areas: Sandburg Road and Nevada Avenue North between Medicine Lake Road and Douglas Drive Olympia Street between Winnetka Avenue and Douglas Drive a portion of Olympia will not be a bike corridor or have bike lanes). Golden Valley Road between Rhode Island Avenue North and Douglas Drive Pennsylvania Avenue and Laurel Avenue between Wayzata Boulevard and Turners Crossroad Wayzata Boulevard between General Mills Boulevard and Texas Avenue It is anticipated that parking restrictions will be required on the majority of the proposed bike route corridors.Staff will be holding an open house for the project on June 12,2019.The open house will be an opportunity for residents to provide input on the project as well as gather information about the proposed design thus far.
