Minutes
Meeting of December 5, 1973
Members:Present: Pierre Meyer, Robert Heckman,
and John 11itchell
Observers: Dwight Wells, Dave Gorski (came into
the meeting only during the time setting
for the hearing).
Chairman Meyer called the meeting to order at 4:47 P.M.
Selection of Attorney
Received permission from village to hire an attorney to provide
counsel for the hearing of the charges against a police officer.
Three law firms were recommended. After a discussion it was
decided to secure the services of the LeFevere-Lefler firm,
Moved by Bob Heckman, seconded by John iti.tchell - Vote (3,0)
If further investigation indicated that LeFevere-Lefler were not
satisfactory, then the services of the firm of Popham, Haik,
Schnobrich, Kaufman & Doty would be secured.

Hearing
The hearing is to start on December 18, 1973, at 3:30 PM and
continue on December 19, 1973 (as necessary) starting at
9:00 A.M. The place to hold the hearing will be in the Golden
Valley village coun.r.il chambers.
