A report on the activities of the Civil Service Commission was
given by the chairman of the Village Council.
Motion by Reiss seconded by "Wilson that the Civil Service Commission
be -authorised to have lttiture and forms printed for the Civil
Service Examination. The Village approprkation will not exceed $100.00

A bid from the Ashworth -Hawkinson Co. for t1je oiling of streets in
Delphan Heights was presented to the Council.

NOur, THEREFORE BE IT RZSOLVED by the Village Council of the Village
of Golden Valley: kinn. that the said matter be referred to Albert Graber
as engineer for the presentation of proper plans and specifications,
and the said specifications Heretofore prepaid by said engineer are
accented as the plans and soecifica.tions for said inprovement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVES That the Village Clerk be and he hereby is directd
to prepare and cause to be inserted in the official newspaper
of the Village and in the Improverrierit Bulletin an Advertisement
for bids upon the making of such improveruent in accordq.nce with
such approved plans and specifications, which said notice shall
call for -'yids upon the basis of cash for the work and state that the
bids be opened and considered by the Council on the 1st day of Jul$
, 1941. at Silo 'clock P.M.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly secondej
by Busch , and upon vote taken thereon the following voted in favor
thereof, Raskop, Frandsen Reiss Busarh dvllson (YES)
and the following voted against the same NONE
Ahereupon the said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
A Platt of the proposed SUNRISE Lane addition was presented to the Council
by I.R.addis

subject to the completion of the Roads.
