Minutes Of Meeting of the Village Council
of the Village of golden Valley, Hennepin
County, Minnesota, hold October 30, 1941.
Pursuant tel 6W *all and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the Village Council of thw Village of Golden Valley, Minnesota, was duly
held at the Village Ball, in said Village, on the 30th day of October, 1941,
at 8vOO o'clock, P. 1%
The following members were present., RftskOP, Reese, Busch, and
Wilson,
and the following were absenti Frandsen.
The Village Attorney was also present, as were '.fir. Gronvall and Mr. -Howard
of the boxA attorneys.
The President ot the council announced t!At the neeting was oon-
vaned and open for the consideration of the aseessment for Streat Improvement
No. 2.
The Clark Wanouneod that on* 'written objeation had been tiled.
The objection was read, ftor*Won, Mr. Gronvall and Mrs Howard were 0alled
upon for an explanation of the assessment. The President then asked if
there were any present who oared to be heard in reference to the ass as,smsxat.

All the owners Of the unplattod property lying

Drive objeoted on the ground that their property was not in Gl-n Urban Addition
or Glon Urban Second Addition, and, therefore, w4s not subject to assessment.
After consideration of said objections, Trustee Reese introduced
the following resolution and moved its adoption,
MOLUTION CONTINUING IMARING ON ASSESSMENT nR STRET-IT
IMPROVEM111T NO. 2.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Golden
Valley that the hearing on the assessment$ for Street Improvement No. 2
shall be adjourned until Tuesday, November 4. at Stoo p. M.,., and that the
council shall In the mean time make an inspection of "Wostwood Drive and
the property abutting thereon.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly
seconded by Trustee and upon vote bel -ng taken thereon
the followngvoted in favor thereof,
and the follawing voted against the samot -74-0-4-
whereupon said resolution was declared duly pRssed and adopted.
Thereupon the ateeting adjourned.
