A Treasureres re -Port was read and ordered -placed on file. &r. Lnghauser, a member of the Plcannin;,�_; Coilfission, gave a re-oort on the numbering of homes in Golden Valley. A letter from LVIr. Martin was read. The chairman referred this letter to the chairman of the road con.l...ittee. The President announced that pursuant to adjournment from the meeting of October 30, the Council will proceed to hoar and consider the assessment for Street Improvement No. 2. After due consideration of the assessments and all objections thereto, Trustee Ate_ introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION CONFIRMING 9PICIAL ASSESSMTS FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT NO. 2. BE IT 'RE'SOLVED by the Village Gouncil of the Village of Golden Valley, Minnmsota, as f*llowst lo The Village has duly oonstrueteA a street improvement under the provisions of Chapter 362, Laws of Yinnesota for 1925. 2* The Village Clark has with the assistance of Arnold F. Gronvnll, a competent person selooted by the council, calculated the proper amount to be specially assessed for the construction of said improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land in accordance with the provisions of law, and as pre -Pared and filed with the Village Clerk in the proposed assess- ment* 3- Notice of the time and place of meeting to consider said assess- ment and hear. and pass upon all objections has been given as roquirod by law. 4. The Village Clerk shall forthwith deliver a certified copy of said assessment roll, includirig, this resolution, to the Village Treasurer, and he shall gIve notice of the receipt of said assessment roll and of the duo date of said assessment as provided by law. 7. Tl, -,e assessments not p&Vd on or beforo this due date sliall be payable in ton equal annual installments, the first instillment to be duo on the lat day of January in the year 1942, and payable with the 1941 taxes, and each subsequent installment shall be due and payable on the following January let until all said installment* have been paid, and each such assessment shall bear Interest at the rate of six per cent per annum, payable SaLnually from the due date. 8. The proceeds of said special assessments wlien and as the same are collected shall be paid into "Street Improvement Nes. 2 Fund" and shall be used solely to pay principal and interest on the warrants issued on said fund.
