Tne following ordinance was introduced:
An ordinance Amending That Certain '*-rdinanco Entitled
"Au Ordinance Licensing and "ogulating the Sale of Intox-
icating Liquor; repealing Inoinsietent Ordinances# and
Providi�& Penalty for the Violation Thereof" Passed

Whereas the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley did on
Jan.lo-,194449rdain and establish a certain ordinance entitled" An*
Ordinance Licensing and Regulating the sale of Intoxicating -Liquor
Repealing Inconsistent Gzdinances) and Providing a Penalty for the
Violation Thereof:
The Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley does ordain as
and establish as follows:
Section 1.
Tnat that certain ordinaboo entitled: An ordinance Licensing and
Regulating the sale of intoxicating Liquor) Repealing Inconsistent
Ordinances) and Providing a penalty for the Violation thereof,
passed by the Village Council Jan.16th$1934) be and the same hereby
is amended as follows:
By striking tnerefrom the second paragraph of section 4 and-substitut
ing therefor the followingi
The annual fee for an "on sale" license shall be V50.00
Section 2.
The provisions of this ordinance shall apply to all licenses granted
subsequent to the adoption of this ordinance.
Section 3.
The provisions of this ordinance shall apply to all licenses here-
tofore granted under the provisions of tae ordenance hereinbefore
referred tos passed Jau.16p1934t pursuant to the power of the Village
to correct its books and records.
Section 4.
The invalidity of any part or Darts of this ordinance shall not
affect the validity of the remaining part of parts.

The following Ordinance was introduced:
An Ordinance to license the operation
,of Dance Halle by Sellers of Non -Intoxicating
malt Beverages and Intoxicating Liquors
The Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley do ordain as follews*
Section le It shall be unlawful for any person to operate a banoing hall
or permit dancing on any premises where non -intoxicating malt liquor or
Intoxica#ing Liquor are sold without first Obtained a licenst therefor.
Section 2. Such license shall be issued by the Village #000rder following
payment of proper fees and approval of the Council.
S4 '--u.Lon 3. The annual fee for such license shall be One Hundred Fifty
Dollars ($150.00) and it shall be a condition precedent to the granting of
such license that the grant** thereof shall have been licensed to sell non
intoxicating malt beverage or intoxicating liquors or both as the case
may be.
Section 4. "othing herein shall -be interpreted to prohibit the operation
of a dance hall on any premises on which non intoxicating malt bevez@;go
or intoxticating liquor are sold; om oayment of,a license fee of One
Hundred Fifty Dollars (4150.00,) and the issuance of a license thereof.
Section 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsident herewith are
hereby repealed.
Section 6. The provisions of this ordinance shall apply to all licenses
heretofore granted covering the operation 6f tavern pursuant to the
power of the Village to correct its books and records) and to all
licences here after issued.

This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its Dub-
lication.
