Minutes of the Special Useting of the Village Council Held
March 8;1943

Members present Raskop Frandsen Reiss Busch and Wilson
Mr. Montgomery— attorney was present at the meeting.
The chairman stated that the purpose of the meeting was to meet with
the members of the Volinteer Fire Dept. to decuss the dept. organiz
ation and means of raising funds for the new Volinteer Fire Dept.
Fire Chief Lovering and kr. Swenson reported on the progress of the
new Fire dept. and prices of new fire truck equipment.

An open discussion was held by all memebers of the fire dept, and
ti the membbra of the Council.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that the Village Council approve
the proposal by the fire dept. of the Village that its merabbra raise
a fund by donations from property owners of the Village to be held
by the Treasurer of the dept. for purchase of equipment for the fire
dept). It is understood that such funds shall belong to the fire dept
