The regular meeting of the Village jounoil was called to order by t1a
Chairman Raymond T Raskop.
Members present Raskop Frandsen Reiss Busch and Wilson
Minutes of the regular Council meeting held May 18,1943 were read.
Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss that the minutes stand approvei
as read.

A police report was given'by Capt. tic Ginnie.

Motion by Reiss seconded by Busch that a note of condolance be
sent to Mr. & Mrs Paul K Enghauser

The Village Attorney gave a report on the condition of the -:roads and
gudders in the Glen Urban Additions
kation by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that Mr. Esterlypan engineers
be hired to write up specification on the roads and gutters in the
Glen Urban Additions

The Chairman of the Road committee stated that the Vtllage needed.
a gravel loader.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Busch that the chairman of the Road
committee be impowerod to check equipment that could be purchased.
and that he make recommwndations at the next Oegular Coundil
meeting.

The Chairman opened the Public hearing on the Turf License.
Ir Margan, attorneys spoke in behalf of Mrs Hyers.
Mr. Reilly, attorney) spoke in behalf of Mrs Doran.

Mr. Rich;attorneyp representing Mr. Radisch and kr. Bailif spoke
in their behalf.
Mr. Jons Swartz representing Mr. Helverson spoke in behalf of the
receivers.
Dr. Erwin spoke in behalf of the petitioners against Doran.
Dr. Erwin presented a letter to the Council from Mr. A.F.R6senwold
Traffic engineers Minn Dept. of Highways.
The clerk read a letter of recommendation foss the license committee
Motion by Wilson seconded by Frandsen that,all license In the name
of Norman Garvey be transferred to Mt Jack RacLiscii. and that the members
of the Council vote verbal on this motion*

liquor licenses be tabled p the Golden Valley Police Dept. be
instructed to investigate all applicants and report there.findings
to the Council at a special meeting to be held June4p1943,
