Motion by Busch seconded by Reiss that the min-ates stand approved as read. The Clerk read a report from the Golden Valley Volinteer fire Dept, Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen to adopt the following resulutica WHEREAS,, the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley ,Henn. County, Minn. has received from the Land Commissioner of Henn. Councty a list of land in said Village of Golden Valley which has become the absolute property of the State of Minn. under the provisions of laws declaring the forfeiture of lands to the State for taxes, which Muds have been classified by the County Board of said Henn. County as non conservation and the sale, pursuant to laws of Minn for 1935, chanter 386, Section 1, as amended, which list of land is disignnated as list 71-0, June 7th 1943 and. WHEREAS, this board has made a complete examination of all facts and cir.curnstances relating to such parcels., Now therefore, acting pursuant to said section 1, Chanter 386, as amended. Be it resolved, that the Village Council of said Village of Golden Valley, approve the classification of the said County Board of said lands as non conservation and for sale. Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen to adont the following nrdinn'AnP ON ORDINANCE SETTING RE- QUIREMENTS FOR THE ISSUANCE AND TRANSFER OF LICENSES FOR THE SALE IOF NON -INTOXICATING MALT LIQUORS AND BEVERAGES AND AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 29. The Village Council ofthe Village of Golden Valley do ordain as follows: Ordinance No. 29 governing the sale of non -intoxicating malt liquors and beverages is hereby amended by the addition thereto of the following: Section 15a. No license shall be issued to any natural person, who has not been a resident in and a registered voter of the Village of Golden Valley for one year immediately preceding the date of the application for such license. Section 15b. No license shall be issued to any partnership --unless all of the members thereof shall have been resi- dents in and registered voters of the Village of Golden Valley for one year immediately preceding the date of the application for such license. Section15c. No license shall be issued to any corporation unless the officers thereof and the owners of at least 51% of the stockthereof shall have been residents in and registered voters of the Village of Golden Valley for one year preceding the date of the application for such license. Section 15d. Sections 15a, 15b, and 15c hereof shall apply to both the is- suance and the transfer of licenses. Section 15e. Sections 15a -15d inclu- sive hereof shall not apply to persons, partnerships, nor corporations now li- censed to sell non -intoxicating malt liquor in and by the Village of Golden Valley nor to renewals of licenses by such persons, partnerships, or corpora- tions; Provided, however, that no license now held or hereafter granted to any. person, partnership, or corporation now licensed to sell non -intoxicating malt liquor shall be transferred in violation of the provisions hereof.
