The special meeting of the Village Council was called to order
by the chairman Raymond T.Raskop

set up the new Village Budget, desauss a new insuance plan and
new police wage scale.
The chairman read a price list from the V.P.A.
The Traasurer, Geo. Casey, reported on the cost of operating the
Village during the past years.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen to,set the Village Levy at
416,000.00- to be proportioned as follows: $2,000.00 to the
Poor fund , $4 30- '--moi-the General Fund.p $1400.00 to the
Police Fund., 415&0.00 to the Fire Dept. Fund. and $6,800.00
to the Road and Bridge Fmnd., and that the clerk forward this
information to the County Auditor.

lotion by Reiss seconded by Busch that the Village Attorney be
instructdd to write up Insurance specifications and advertise
for bids. Bids to be opened at the next Council meeting.

The Chairman reported on the police sallaries paid in the slarronding
Villages. He also recommenddd that the police get an increase
in paye
motion by Feiss seconded by Frandsen that the police salary be
tabled until the next Council meeting.

The chairman referred the question of a Nr'lunieipal Liquor store
to the Village Attorney.
