The regular meeting of the Village Council was called to order by
the chairman Raymond T.Raskop
Members present Raskop Frandsen Reiss Busch and Wilson
Minutes of the regular Council meeting held Sept. 25,1943 were read
Lotion by Reiss seconded by Busch that the minutes stand approved
as read +u

A report, read by the treasurer, Geo Casey. was ordered placed on file
A police report was given by Capt. McGinnis.
Fire chief Lovering reported that the drive is progressing very good
for a new fire Truck.
The chairman referred the Honor Roll bill board to the building
committee
Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss that the Council take the
position that the work in the Glen Urban Ist and lend addition
is completed, and that the Bowlander Co be paid their fee.

Motion by Reiss sec6nded by Busch that a cigarette license be granted
to the Schultz Lynch Inc.

The chairman ask that the Insurance bids be opened.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Busch that the Village purchase
Comprehensive LiLL'cility Insurance.

Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that the lowest bid of $412.96
from the Hardwear Indemnity Ins. Co of Minn. be accepted.

The chairman instructed the Raod Committee chairman to get information
on the purchasing of a new four wheal drive truck.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen thAt the Council request the
presence of the Whites) Ba.ilus, and Kennedy to special meeting to be
held Oct 12,1543 in the Village hall at 8 O'clock P.M.and that the
clerk be instructed to nodify these parties.

Mrs Koontz ask the Council if they had given due concideration for
the purchasing of a new fire truck.
Mr. Sweenson, Mr. Ostrood, Mr. Moe, and Fire Chief Lovering spoke
in favor of a new fire truck
