Village of Golden Valley
October 19, 1943
The meeting was called to order at 8:30 by President Raskop.
Members present were Raskop, Busch, Frandsen, Reiss. Members absent: (Nilson.
The minutes of the meeting of October 5 were read and a motion made �y
Reiss, seconded by Busch, that they stand approved as read was adopted by unan-
imous vote.
The minutes of the meeting of October 12 were read and a motion made by
Reiss, seconded by Frandsen that they stand approved as read was adopted by unan-
imous vote.
The regultr report of the Village Treasurer was read and ordered placed
on file.
A motion was made by Frandsen, seconded by Busch, that the following resol-
ution be adopted:
Be it resolved by the Village Council of the Village of Golden Valley that
the co-chairmen of the Civilian Defense Cosps, Raymond T. Raskop andFletcher
Olson are authorized and directed to collect the names of all residents of the
Village in the armed forces and deliver the same to Paul K. Bnghauser and Swan
Erickson who are authorized and direct to prepare a design for a suitable honor
roll carrying such names and submit said design to the Council at its next
meeting.
The resolution was adopted by unanimous vote.
Motion by Reiss, seconded by Busch, to adjourn was adopted by unanimous
vote and the meeting was declared adjourned.
