The regular meeting of the Village Council was called to oreder
by the chairman Raymond T.Raskop_

'Minutes of the Council meeting held Oct.19,1943 were read.
Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss that the minutes stand annroved
as read.

A report, read by the treasurer, Geo. Casey, was ordered nlacedon file
A police report was given by Capt. McGinnis
Fire Chief Lovering reported on the splendid progess of donations
f or the new fire truck.
The cha,irm an recom-ifended that a special council meeting be held to
decide where the new fire truck should be housed.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that a sn_ecial meeting of the Councl,
be held Nov. 9,1943

The chairman read a letter from the Planning Commission in regard to
the White Road. _
kiss White ask the Council to condeme a strip of land into there
pro-oerty.
The Village Attorney suggested that the Council ask for a letter from
the Whites stating their williness to xray for the cost of at road into
their tir�perty
The road matter was refferred back to the "Whites) and it ws.s suggested
that get together with other interested parties.
Motion by neiss seconded by Busch that the Village pay the-arepay freig�f
charges of ciratkarr grates from the City of Brainerd

Fletcher Olson read the names off the Golden Valley men in the Armed
Services.
Motien_by Busch seconded by Frandsen to adjourn was so ordered.
