Minutes of the regular Council meeting held Febr.15,1944 were read.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Igoe that the minutes stand approved
as read.

A report ) read by the treasurer, Carl Johnson, was read and ordered
placed on file.
A police report was read by Capt. McGinnis.
Kr. Reiss gave a relief report.
A letter from the Planning dommission was read and placed on file
Motion by Reiss seconded by Moe that the Council approperate $20.00
to the Planning Commbssion.

to the Planning Commission there term to expire January 1,1945,

1r. Arno Denzin ask the Council not to adopt the following
resolution.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Moe to adopt the following resolution:
Resolved) that the Council go on record and that the clerk be
instructed to write the Local Board No. 25 Robbinsdale, asking
that honorable body to give consideration and deferrment to
Arne Lenzin, the registrant) who is road commissioner in the
Village of Golden Valley. kr. Denzin is the last capable man that the
Village now has who has full knowledge) training, and experience
to handle and operate our road machinery and the large diesel
equipment for the roads streets alleys and snow removal with the
150 males of Village roads to be cared for andserviced. It would
be impossible for the Village to replace the registrant or to find
anyone near his experience and knowledge od this highgrade
equipment. We ask that he be classified 2 A and granted a deferrment
of a six month period.
Any consideration you may be able to grant this registrant will
be highly appreciated by all the Village Officials.

An application from John Enghauser for justice of the peace
was read and placed on file.
A letter from Dr. Moore.requesting the Council to waive
the lot line requirements governing lot 2 block 2 of Tyrol
Hills addition to permit the erection of a garage was read.
A letter Mx. Harold Hradford(aLot 1 block 2 Tyrol Hills)
approving Dr. Moores request was read and placed on file,
Motion by Reiss seconded by Moe that the request from Dr More
be referred to the --,Planning Commission and that a sn_ectal
Council meeting be called if necessary.
