06-06-44 Council MinutesJune 6,1944 The meeting was called to order by the chairman Geo E.Hanson Members Aresent Hanson Frandsen Reiss Moe Milson Minutes ofthe regular Council meeting held May 16,1944 were read. Motion by Reiss seconded by Moe that the minutes stand approved as read. Hanson Frandsen Reiss Mae Wilson (YES) The chairman called for bids on fire hose Bids were received from the following Company'sJ.N.Johnson Cot Minn. Fire Ea uipment Ca Hewitt Rubber Corp; American La France Foamite Corp. and Eureka Fire Hose Co. All bids were referred to Fire Chief Lovering. An application from Iver Stanger for a on sale liquor license was read. Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss that the application be referred to the license committee and Village attorney for investa— gation. Hansen, Frandsen Reiss Moe Nilsen (YES) Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss to grant Mrs Dols a cigarettee license Hansen Frandsen Reiss Moe Gilson (YES) Motion by Reiss seconded by Wilson to grant milk liceses to the Superior $airy and the Isles Dairy Co. Hanson Frandsen heiss Moe Wilson (YES) Motion by Reiss se eonded by Moe to grant a 3.2 licese to Leonard Blsomquest for six months. Mr Kane stated that Mr Finn was no longer Interseted in having Wayzata Blvd and Winnetka Ave rezoined.
