August 28,1944
Persant to due call and notice the Village Council met at the
Village Hall at 8.30. P.MF.
Members present Hanson Frandsen Reiss Mee and Wilson
The purpose for which the meeting was called was to pass on the
question of Housing for thr seconde fire truck.

The clerk , read a letter from the Fire Underwriters Inspection
Bureau,'on the location of fire fighting apparatus in Golden Valley
Fire Chief Lovering , Harold Swenson and Mr. Shutleworth spoke in
behalf of the erection of a new bldg for the second fire truck.
Lester Johnson commetted on the question
Herman and Anna Held spoke in opposition.
-Following a request by the Clerk that the Pres=dint of the Council
inforce order among members of the audiance, it was moved by
Wilson and seconded by Frandsen that the meeting be adjourned.

Persuent to due call and members of the Council being present
and waiving native of the meeting a second special meeting was
called to order at 10.25 P.Y. in the Village Hall for the
purpose of concidering the request of members of the Police force
that they receive their past due salaries
Motion by Moo seconded by Reiss that $500.00 be transferred from
the General Fund to the Police fund and appropreated specificaly
to the paymentsalaries of members of the Police force due an
August 15,1944
