Hanson Members Dresent Hanson Frandsen Reiss Moe and Wilson Minutes of the regular council meeting held Oct 17p1944 were read. Motion by Reiss seconded by Moe that the minutes stand approved as read. Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that the bids be referred to Fire chief Schuttleworth. Hanson Frandson Reiss Moe Wilson (YES) A petitionpprotesting the rezoning for commercial purooses or country store of the North West Corner of the kedincine Lake Road and Belt Line hghwys was read and placed on file. Mr. La Zerty presented a netition favoring the same. A petition asking the council not to issue a permit for a garage at 1526 and 1532 North Lilac Drive was read and -'placed on file. &4A414� Bernard Ruffenach, and Mr.4 a spoke in favor od the Degition protesting the rezoning of the N.W. Corner of medicine Lake road and .,the belt line Hghwy. 'Mr. Moser spoke in favor of rezoning. A letter from the Board of Park Commissioners stated that due to a 481,E steel water main going through Valley View Park) grading down the hill opposite Block 3 of Delphian Heights 2nd addition; could not be undertaken. Motion by Reiss seconded by Moe that the Council resined its action with referance too daylighting the hill referred too, and that the Clerk notify the Board of Park Commissioners of the Council's rescissio4 and that a copy of this letter be forward to the Tole Go and the F.H.A* Hanson Frandsen Reisskoo Wilson (YES) Fire Chief Schuttleworth recommended that the Council purchase the Stoker and Furnace from the Standard "eating Co, Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that the Council accept the bid from the Standard Heating Co. for a new coker and Furnace at $498.00 Hanson Frandsen Aeiss Me* Wilson (YES) Mr Moe ) chairman of the license Committee reported that he did not have the Dog Ordinance. 20 NIL* chairman announced that the public hearing on the Dog Ordinance was open. !z. Swenson , president of the Golden Valley Fire Dept., stating that Mr Schuttleworth was elected Fire Chief \ Sept 14th and asking the Council to approve the election was read. Motion by Reiss seconded by Moe that the Council confirm the appointment of fire chef Schuttleworth.
