Minutes of the Snecial Council meeting held March 26,1945 were read.

Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss that the minutes stand approved
as read except that they be corrected to show that the action
taken with referrenoe to grading the alley in Block 1 Delnhian
Heights be shown to have been in accordance with the report of the
special Committee appointed by the President to consider the
nroblem.

A letter from the Golden Valley Civic Uabge asking the Council
for nermission to use the Village Hall on the Fourth Tues. of
each month was read.
kotion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that the request of the
Golden Valley Civic Leagge be granted.

A letter from Ijan J. Kennedy asking help to secure new bus
schudules in Golden Valley was read and filed.
I-otion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that Dirs Kennedy's letter be
referred to the Planning Commission.

The Clerk read the resignation f*,.7a of Robert Landry from the
Planning Commission.
The President recommended that Mrs Beal fill the unexpired term
of Robert Landry.
Motion by :roe seconded by Reiss that .yrs Beal be anDointed to the
Golden Valley Planning Commission to fill the unx-oired term of
Robert Landry. Term to expire Dec. 31,1945.

A letter from Chester Tomcheck asking the Council to hold another
hearing on his off sale liquor U)Ditsation was read and filed.
Mr. .6essler, attorney, spoke in behalf of Chester Toracheck.
Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that the request be tabled
until kr Tomcheck produce a petition from the neighbors showing
their attitude towards granting him an off sale liquor license.

Council to hold a, hearing on the on sale and off sale 3.2 applications
of Fiartin Larsen.
Seventeen oeo-ple were nresent and expressed themselves as being in
favor of granting a 3.2 on sale and 3.2 off sale licenses to
Lartin Larsen.
kr i,.oe , chairman of the license committee, stated the in view of the
absence of objections and the neighbors in favor of granting
the licenses he would change the recommendation of his committee.
