Ir. Moe and Mr Kane spoke in favor of connecting up with the letropolitan Sewage System. kr Kane stated that he spoke as a private citizen and not as Village attorney. A letter from the Golden Valley Civic League Inc. requesting the Council to have the people vote on the Sewage problem was read and filed, *I Motion by Frandsen seconded by Reiss to adopt the following F resolution: Whereas pursuant to reellution duly adopted by the Village Council of'the Village of Golden Valley duly posted and published the -Village Council has met at the time and place specified therein and heard all persons interested in the improvement of Delphian Heightd 2nd and 3rd units by construction of a sanitary sewage system now therefor* Be it resolved that this Council hereby determined not to ubdertake the improvement proposed in said resolution. No. 7 An act provides for the adoption of a Primary Election System by Villages of not less than 1400 pop- ulation, and Whereas) the Council of the Village of Golden Valley is authorized to adoptsaid system by a four-fifths vote. Now therefore be it resolved; By the Council of the Village of Golden Valley that it adopt said Primary Election System as provided by the above Chapter 179- H.F. No 7 enacted by the Legislature of the State of blinninota. Be it further resolved that the name of the subdivision known as Delphian Heights 2nd unit be and the same is hereby changed to the name Glenview Terrace 2nd unit.
