Persuant to due call and notice th.11age Council met at the
Village Hall at 8 O'clock on Sept 26,1945'
Members present Hanson Frandsen Reiss Moe and Filson
The'President stated the the purpose of the meeting was the reading
of a new ligmor ordinance in regard to the Golden Valley Golf Club
Motion by Moe seconded by Reiss that a first reading be given the
ordinance entitled " An ordinance to amend an ordinaee to the 7�
licensing and regulating of the Sale of Intoxicating liquor beingy`
No 30 of the ordinances of the Village of Golden Valley under
the compilation of ordimaces dated December 1,1941.

Motion by Reiss seconded by Moe that whereas an urgency exsists
the rules be so far suspended that the said ordinace be given
its 2nd reading and placed upon it's final passage.
The ordinance was given it's 2nd reading.

of the Sale of Intoxicating Liquor b917111 o. 30 of tae Ordinances
of the Village of Golden Valley under the Compilation of Ordin-
ances Date. December 1, 1941.`
111.1The Village Council of theVilla.g of Golden Valley do ordain
as follows:

of the Village of Golden Valley, dated December 1, 1941 and passed
on the 16th day of January, -;19,354 and entitled " An Ordinance Licensing
and Regulating the Sale of Intoxicating Liquor. Repealing Inconsistent
Ordinances, and Providing a Penalty for the Violation Thereof." be
amended to read as follows: --�-'

Licenses shall be of two kinds: "On sale" and "Off

"On sale" licenses shall _,ranted only to hotels, clubs,
and exclusive liquor stores, and shall permit the consumption of
liquor on the Dremises only. The number of "on sale" liquor licenses
shall not exceed the maximum number of licenses as provided by the
laws of the State of Minnesota and in addition thereto, "on sale"
licenses may be granted to clubs in accordance with the provisions
of the statutes of the State of Minnesota relating thereto.
"Off sale" licenses shall be grantedAo permit the sale of
liquor at retatil or wholesale in the original package for consumption
off the.premises only. Such licenses may be issued only to drug
stores and exclusive liquor stores,
