Hanson Frandsen Reiss Moe Wilson (YES) Bldg Inspectors,Police, Fire and Treasurers renorts were read and filed Mr Moe, chairman of the license committee, recommended that 3.2 on sale and 3.2 off sale licenses to Perry Woodfill be denied. The President recoiumended that the Council not issue any licenses to the `Noodfill vronerty. Motion by Reiss seconded by Frandsen that soft drink, filling station and cigarette licenses be ranted to Perry �Noodfill. The Village attorney suggested that two nublishdd notices on the pronosed alley be given. Motion by Reiss seconded by Moe tc -.dopt the following resolution: "Whereas petition in writing signed by Leo Shhulz and others dated Aug.7,1945 has been duly filed with the Village Council requesting that the alley in block one Glenview Terarace, be imb_roved by grading and gravelling. NOW therefore be it resolved that said petition is herety deterAined to have been signed by a majority of the owners of nropexty abutting on said proposed improvement as required by Chapter 311, Laws of 1927. BE it resolved by the Village Council of the Village of,., Golden Valley that it is deemed necessary and expedient to improve by grading and gravelling the alley in Block one Glenview Terrace, unit two, and that on the 6th day of Nov. 1945, at 8 o'clock P.M. this Council will meet at the Village Hall in said Village and will at said time and place hear the parties interested therein in reference to such improvement, in whole or in part. The standard of time in the Village of Golden Valley with reference to time in any ordinance or for ,any, other i ..purpose shall tie in accordance' with the United States Central Standard Time.
