A special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of
Golden Valley was held at the Village Hall on 11arch 20, 1946
pursuant.to call by the President of the Council.
Members of the Council present were: President of the Council,
Harold Swenson, and. Trustees, Curtis V. Yoe and Charles Franzen.
A discussion was held relative to the raising of on -sale hard
liquor licenses, tavern licenses, on -sale malt beverage licenses
and pin -ball machine licenses. Mr. Schler, Mr. Florida and Yr.
Radish, and I.Tr. Stanger presented argum nts on behalf of the liouor
dealers wherein they suggested a $1500.00 over-all fee. There was
a discussion on the matters of a council but no action was taken.
Mr. Curtis V. floe moved that the Council adjourn until 3:00
o t clock Saturday, larch 23, 1946.
This motion was seconded by
Charles'Franzen and on the question of the passage of this motion,
the roll call was as follows: Harold Swenson, Yes; Curtis V. Moe,
Yes; Charles Franzen, Yes.
